He Tino Pai



WALT: Express our likes, dislikes and make compliments.

Task description: For today's Te Reo lesson we had to ask questions or compliments based on the things we like and dislike, by using these three new words we learnt in Moari : He Pai (It's good),
He Tino Pai (It's very Good) and Kao (NO). We then had to complete the responses in the speech bubbles with our answers using the three words we have learnt today. Lucky last we had to complete a CREATIVITY TASK, I chose the one where we had to make a conversation with someone using the different phrases we have learnt in Te Reo  Maori. Hope You Enjoy

Taha Wairua Challenge!!



Taha Wairua Challenge- Make a card/write an email for someone who has been kind, cool or helpful. Explain what they did and why you appreciate them.

Today I did the Taha Wairua challenge. I chose my sister (Katherine) again but this time I wrote her a Thank You card for the things she did for me. This challenge was a great experience for me to do, I had a fun time completing this challenge. I encourage everyone to do this challenge please. Good Luck Everyone if you are doing this CHALLENGE!

Taha Tinana Challenge!!!



Taha Tinana Challenge- 25 Sit ups in 2 minutes or less

For today's Taha Tinana Challenge I had to do 25 Sit Ups in 2 Minutes or less.
I decided to have a go of doing this challenge in my bed room. I put on 2 minutes and then Got
Into It. I finished my Sit Ups just before 2 minutes, WOW. Make sure that you also have a go at this
challenge as well and take photos and videos and post them on your blog. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

The Art of the Sentence



WALT: Analyse the structure of a sentence.

Today for my reading lesson today we were learning about parts of a clause.
We had to highlight green the subject and blue for the verb. The subject is the person or thing and the verb is what describes what the subject is doing. A verb can also be a thinking/feeling and the words
'is', 'have' and 'be' are also types of verbs. Hope you enjoy looking at my slides :)

Today for our Writing lesson we had to complete a few slides that can help us 
by constructing clear sentences. First we had to look at a few different images and then we had to construct simple but clear sentences to go along with the image. We had to make sure that it was simple and not a whole story of information. Hope you ENJOY!

Introduction to Statistics: Maths Slides

Today was our first Maths Lesson for the start of Term 2.
We had to complete a few slides that are focusing on our introduction to our
new topic Statistics. So far I've learnt a lot of new Vocab that is used in Statistics and
the different areas in Statistics including: Strip graphs, Pictographs, Dot Plots and Stem and Leaf

 In our writing lesson today we had to construct clear sentences so that the readers can read it easily. 
 When we talk to people, we give a lot of information through our BODY LANGUAGE, FACIAL  
 EXPRESSION and TONE OF VOICE.

Today for my first Reading lesson for Term 2 we are focusing on reading and providing information
on the topic 'Structure of the Earth'. There are about 4 elements that makes up the structure of the Earth including the Crust, the Mantle, Outer Core and  Inner Core. There are still many things to continue learning about The Structure of the Earth!

Today for my Friday activity for week 2 in our Easter Learning Journey we had to create a poster that
provides 2 different things that I am hopeful today. My first one was about staying kind and safe to each other because right now we are really needing to stay cool so that we can get through this hard time of year. And my second one is about me hoping to have strength and happiness on my family, community, school and friends.
