WALT: Analyse the common elements of poetry

Over the past few weeks our literacy class have been learning all about the common elements of poetry such as metaphors, similes, stanzas and much more. Now we all have a better understanding of poetry.

Like Stars In The Sky

                This week in writing we are focusing in Poetry and what it is all about. In my                           creative activity I had to create a static image that would be the front cover
for one of the poems we have read. I chose "Like stars In The Sky" By Michele
Meleen because it is all about how friends are like stars in the sky.

WALT: Create a List poem.
Today in our reading lesson today I had to create a list poem using a different topic. As you can see I  chose SPRING as my topic. Spring can mean a lot of things other than amazing flowers blooming everywhere.
