Pie Graph

 Pie Graph

TASK DESCRIPTION :

Here's another completed maths slide ! This one was on Pie Graphs. Pie chart is a circular statistical graphic, which is divided into slices to illustrate numerical proportion. In a pie chart, the arc length of each slice, is proportional to the quantity it represents .

A - Time Series !

Time Series Graph !

Task Description :
Hello blog readers ! You already know it , another completed Maths Task. This was based on our knowledge on Time Series Graphs. This type of graph are created by plotting an aggregated value ( either a count or a statistic, such as sum or average ) on a time line. Not going to lie this maths task was a little challenging and took me quite some time to work out some of the questions , BUT ENOJY :))
*Some answers may be wrong, still learning !

Dot Plots

 Comparing Dot Plots

Task Description :

Morning everyone ! Here is my maths slide on the Dot Plot task , I had to compare two dot plots together to answer questions about the data given to me. A Dot Plot is a graphical display of data using dots !

Picture and Tally Charts !

Picture and Tally Charts Maths Task

Task Description :

Good evening everyone, yup another Maths Task Completed ! This maths task is about 'Picture and Tally Charts/Graphs. A Picture graph, or pictograph is a graph used to display information that uses images or symbols to represent data. Tally Charts is a simple way of recording and counting frequencies, each occurrence is shown by a tally mark.

Bar and Histogram Graphs

 BAR AND HISTOGRAM MATHS TASK

Task Description :
Check out my maths work on Bar and Histogram graphs ! A Bar Chart/Graph is where it presents catergorical data with retangular bars with heights or lengths proportional to the values that they represent. On the other hand Histogram is a bar graph-like representation of data that buckets a range of outcomes into columns along the x-axis. Bar and Histograph graphs have some stuff in common but some different, read my work to find out more.
( feel free to leave a positive comment ! )

Strip Graphs

 Strip Graph Maths Task

Task Description :

Kia ora blog readers ! Here's another completed Maths Task. This one is about constructing Strip Graphs and answering question involving data displayed on Stip Graphs. A Strip Graph is a graph for displaying the distribution of a catergory variable or a whole number variable that uses parts of a retangular strip to represent the frequencies for each category or value. I defintely enjoyed this task because it was really fun and constructing graphs is something I love to do .
Feel free to leave a positive comment :))

Stem and Leaf Graph

Stem and Leaf Graph Task !

Task Description :

Yup you know it, another maths task completed. This maths task is the Stem and Leaf Graph. For those who dont know Stem and Leaf Graphs is a table used to show data. The 'stem'is shown on the left side of the table that shows the starting digit of a number in this case I used the place value ' Tens ' e.g 68,I put the 6 in the stem coloumn. Now the 'leaf' is the right coloumn that shows the ones or the last digit e.g 68, you put the 8 in the leaf coloumn. Read through my work to learn more about placing numbers/data onto a Stem and Leaf graph :))

Box & Whisker Task

WALT : Compare box plots with different data

Task Description :
Here is the Maths Task for the Box and Whisker work. If you are not familiar with what is a Box and Whisker plot, it is a type of graph that represents statistical data on a plot in which a retangle is drawn to represent the second and third quartile. Quartiles are maths language terms for the Box and Whisker plot, in other words you can call it Lower Quartile and Upper Quartile.

Relationship Graphs

Relationship Graphs:

WALT: Understand and create relationship graphs.
Today in our maths lesson we were learning about Relationship graphs, we had to answer questions using the graphs shown in the slides. For the last task we had to create a relationship graph on our own and have a classmate create a story about it. Hope you enjoy reading my work.
