Myths and Legends Passport

Over the past few weeks in Term 3 our Topic in Team 5 is Myths and Legends. We have been doing rotations and going to each class learning new Myths and Legends by each Teacher. To show our learning we had this passport that holds key learning from each class. My favourite myth so far is the Cambodian one: Thunder, Lightning and Rain. Learning myths from different countries is something I really enjoy doing, learning different and new things each day at school is really fun. Thank You Teachers!

The Watcher of the South

 a

The Watcher of the South!

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. Today for our 2nd rotation for Inquiry, my class (Room 3) went to Ms Tapuke's Class (Room 2). We learnt about a new and interesting myth that comes from the Xhosa people of South Africa. We had to write what the characters were, key notes and lastly we had to work with a buddy and record yourselves retelling of the Xhosa myth, The watcher of the South.
