Meet Measurment !

Hi and welcome, today's Maths lesson is about Measurment . Measurment is the quantification of attributes of an object or event, which can be used to compare with other objects or events . In this task we had to use the right measurement for each object given to us. There are lots of measurements to list and choose from : mm ( millimetre ), km ( kilometre ), g ( grams ), kg ( kilograms ) and much more...
Thank-you to Mrs Stone for this amazing work prepared for us !

Measurement!!

WALT: ESTIMATE MEASUREMENTS AND READ DIFFERENT SCALES

Today for our maths task, we are focusing on our Measurements and what they are:  kg, g, mm, cm etc. To start us off first we had to check the measurements in the story Mrs Tele'a wrote. The measurements in the story were purposely wrong, so it is up to us to make it correct. After that, there are 3 different slides that are about estimating the measurements that were given, we had to try and guess it's measurement. Now my favourite activity of the maths slides, which was Ordering Measurements. First we had to guess the length and mass of each one then we had to order it from shortest to longest (1-4) and lightest to heaviest (1-4). For the last slide we had to go on this link that takes us to this reading scale quiz. There are 6 levels in total which is all about reading different types of scales. Doing this really helped me practice reading scales, ones I knew already and many different ones. Thank you Mrs Tele'a for another wonderful and fun Maths Slides today!
