Facts about Niue


Task Description :

Faakalofa lahi atu everyone ! welcome back to my blog and I hope everyone had an amazing holiday. Sadly as many of your are aware we are still in level 3 lockdown due to the many of covid cases that have been popping up, we wont be back at school yet but we're still hoping we can decrease the amount of covid cases and finally be back with eachother. As many of you know it is ' Niue Language Week !! ' Yayy
Here is a little poster about facts from Niue that was provided by one of our many amazing Niue teachers Mrs Langitupu, shoutout to her for her slides of facts that shes made for us to learn about the rich Niue culture. Enjoy and make sure to leave a commet as well :))

  1. Hello Hannah. Wow! This is brilliant. I enjoyed your poster. I particularly enjoyed the images of the Niuean foods. Keep up the great work Hannah. What happens at the hair cutting ceremony?

      Thank-you for commenting and I'm glad you enjoyed my post as well as the images I used. As I have read , at the hair cutting ceremony the young Niue boys grow out their hair and at a ceremony the parents cut their hair. Lucky for the boy, he may recieve money from their guests for a piece of hair.
